Hi! I’m Samantha, and I’m a Compassion-Based Recovery Coach. I have deep empathy and a strong commitment to helping people navigate their healing journeys, especially through life’s struggles and the emotional turmoil many face. I’ve developed a unique ability to connect with people in a meaningful, non-judgmental way, offering them the support and safety they need. As a compassion-based coach, I focus on creating a safe and supportive space for my clients where they can feel heard, understood, and empowered to heal. My experience with various challenges—from addiction to mental health issues, and working with teens—has helped me meet clients where they are and create personalized healing pathways.
Many individuals engage in numbing behaviors, often unconsciously, to escape overwhelming emotions, trauma, or unmet needs. In a world that doesn’t always teach healthy emotional expression or coping strategies, it’s easy to fall into habits of avoidance through substances, shopping, social media, relationships, or other distractions. While these behaviors can provide temporary relief, they don’t address the root causes of pain or lead to long-lasting healing.
For me, it’s about helping my clients build awareness around their patterns, understand their emotional triggers, and ultimately teach them healthier ways to cope, express themselves, and heal. My approach is all about creating a safe, compassionate space where clients can explore their feelings, unlearn unhealthy patterns, gain the strength to look deeper inward, and discover their true selves.
I hold a special place in my heart for teens. I connect with them on their level, offering the listening ear, guidance, and support they need and crave. My approach ensures that clients feel safe, heard, seen, and accepted for who they truly are. I provide a gentle, calming presence that fosters a non-judgmental environment, allowing healing to take place. I have extensive experience working with teenagers struggling with anxiety, depression, identity, early signs of addiction, risky sexual behaviors, and eating disorders.
I’m certified in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and have specialized training in Inner Child work, Internal Family Systems, and sex and love addiction. I’ve worked in various capacities, from inpatient care to intensive outpatient programs, and have also provided 24/7 coaching through overnight stays, transports, and client travel. I have experience working with all age ranges from 6 years old to 60 years old.
Born in Houston and raised in Lubbock, Texas, I received my diploma from Texas Tech University. After graduating, I moved to Dallas, but as I navigated my own evolving recovery journey, I made the bold decision to relocate to Phoenix, Arizona, without ever visiting the state. Passionate about stepping out of my comfort zone, I love to travel and embrace new experiences. I feel deeply connected to nature, different cultures, and the water. My interests include practicing yoga, playing the piano, dancing, golfing, and paddle boarding.
If you’re already working with a team of therapists, psychiatrists, or case managers, I’m happy to collaborate with your team. I believe in a holistic approach to care and understand that everyone’s healing journey often involves different professionals. If you feel something is missing or would like additional support, I’m here to help. I offer free 15-minute consultations, and my pricing is tailored to each client’s specific needs. Feel free to reach out to discuss how I can best support you on your healing journey.
